About this opportunity: Permanent full-time opportunity Attractive remuneration package Career and training opportunities Located in our Windsor Office About this Opportunity: As we continue to innovate and grow, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our QLD Project team. This role will be responsible for securing sales growth of the Retrofit business with a focus on the lifecycle replacement of HVAC, BMS, and Chillers Systems. The role will involve:
- Developing short- and long-range sales plans and preparing sales strategies and submissions.
- Calling on target organizations to identify profitable sales opportunities.
- Managing the preparation and submission of sales proposals.
- Influencing tender requests to include Johnson Controls specified Applied Products and Systems/Solutions.
- Delivering assigned business plans achieving secured sales volume ($) and gross margin ($) vs Plan.
- Providing information to management regarding the Applied industry and recommending plans to maximize future business in line with the Applied growth strategy.
- Fostering strong relationships with all customers and providing sales and technical support to Contractors, Consultants, and End-Users in order to maximize solution sales and customer satisfaction.
- Generating forecasts for sales secured, delivery, collection, sales backlog, inventory management, and any other sales-related issues at all times.
- Experience in sales, ideally in the HVAC industry.
- Proven sales ability including year-on-year growth.
- Ability to communicate both internally and externally at all levels.
- Experience working with consultants, owners, main contractors, and other key stakeholders within the Building and Commercial Industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills.
