Site Manager, Taupo, Penny Homes

Site Manager (Permanent) required for Penny Homes, to run residential sites based in Taupo. Combination of standalone and high-density D&B. This is your opportunity to manage new residential developments in Taupo, overseeing a variation of design and build residential and multi-unit dwellings and activities. Penny Homes is a well-established and thriving residential developer that has a solid pipeline of work both existing and coming on board. There is a high level of support in place with proven processes. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of sites, managing tradespeople and sub-contractors, Health & Safety responsibilities, and the general management of site logistics. Your main duties will involve:

1. Day-to-day running of the site, driving the project forward.
2. Ensuring project programmes are maintained and quality is achieved.
3. Co-ordination of materials on and off-site.
4. Liaising with Clients, Consultants, and subcontractors.
5. Maintaining Health and Safety standards.
6. Ensuring QA is completed.
7. Being solutions-focused.

We welcome applications from those who have:

1. Good residential construction experience either from a commercial main contractor or residential developer.
2. Trade carpentry and hands-on experience in carpentry would be highly advantageous.
3. Strong communication skills and site management skills.

In addition to the above, you will have experience in excavations, retaining walls, concrete foundations, tanking, waterproofing, and hard and soft landscaping. You must understand the structural attributes of construction, not just interiors. A competitive negotiable remuneration package will be negotiated for the successful person.
