Roles and responsibilities

• To prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
• To be fully knowledgeable about all bar products and cocktail recipes.
• To provide high personalized standard of quality and efficient / friendly service.
• To prepare mise‑en‑place and perform side duties.
• To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all beverage items and prepare garnishes for each cocktail accordingly
• To strictly adhere to opening and closing procedures established for the outlet and check beverage stock.
• To monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
• Follows all steps of service.
• Ensures all stock is up to par levels.
• Provides prompt, accurate report of all income received during shift.
• Sells beverages responsibly with the customer's best interest in mind.
• Maintains smooth flow of service between bar and server requests.
• Completes all side work as outlined in the manual.
• Reports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shifts.
• Maintains a positive, friendly attitude with co-workers and guests.
• Maintains a clean, orderly appearance in the restaurant service area.
• Assists with/executes any tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Follows all proper sanitation guidelines.

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality,
• 1-2 years experience in hospitality.
• Full compliance with HACCP standards and certification
• Able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends).
• Responsible, dependable, punctual.
• Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
• Exhibits strong beverage knowledge.
• Work experience in the GCC region is an advantage.

• Familiarity with different types of alcohol, mixers, and garnishes.
• Understanding of craft beers, wines, and spirits.

• Delivering drinks promptly, especially during busy shifts.
• Managing prep and cleanup duties efficiently.

• Ensuring accurate measurements and proper drink presentation.
• Monitoring for signs of intoxication and ensuring responsible service.

• Standing for long hours and handling repetitive tasks like shaking, pouring, and carrying.
• Lifting heavy items, such as kegs and cases of beverages.

• Operating POS systems for payments.
• Managing tabs, calculating totals, and handling cash accurately.

• Adhering to health and safety regulations for food and beverage handling.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and equipment.
