The primary role of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to identify and develop new sales opportunities within the aftermarket helicopter engines sector across various countries in Asia. The primary goal is to leverage these opportunities by converting them into By-The-Hour (BTH) contracts, ultimately aiming to expand the company's market share in this region. Responsibilities: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to find gaps and opportunities for BTH contracts. Tailor sales pitches and proposals to meet the specific needs of various prospective customers. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers, partners, and industry contacts. Work with internal teams to develop customized BTH contract proposals and convert these opportunities into signed BTH contracts. Provide guidance and support to Head of Business Development to develop the mid-term forecast (5YP) annually. Define the strategy of the Network Partners. Drive the new engine sales. Perform the Margin at Term (MAT) reviews. Review the contract performance together with the Account Managers to identify opportunities to increase contract margins. Lead new engine variant Entry-into-service (EIS) projects. Responsible for the BTH penetration target defined by the Headquarters. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. More than 5 years of complex sales experience, preferably in the rotorcraft or aviation industry. Demonstrated excellent customer relationship management skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and strong listening skills. Experience with negotiating contract terms and conditions and financial acumen. Proficient in utilizing analytical software and sales tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
