Getout what you putin This is a new andexciting group wide role where you will get the chance to continuethe growth of our procurement strategy. Reporting directlyinto our Head of Procurement and working with internal and externalstakeholders, you will help to review our current practices andimplement our approach to procurement. As a Procurement Manager forWitherslack Group you will ensure compliance with procurementregulations and identify savings and benefits for thegroup. You will effectively support in themanagement of a range of stakeholders within Witherslack Group,leading the development, planning and implementation of a strategythat optimises value for money, enabling our schools and homescontinue to provide the best level of education and care to ouryoung people. - Procurement managementexperience working in multi-site organisations (educationexperiencepreferable)
- Experience insupporting multiple category management including end-to-end tenderprocess
- Stakeholder/end-userfocused
- Project managementskills, commercially aware, strongnegotiator.
- Experience ofservice procurement, contract and suppliermanagement
- Identifyingprocurement risk and tendermodels
- Strong organisation& reportingskills
- Salary :Base salary of up to£40,000
- Training: CIPS course (after successful completion ofprobation)
