Overview of the role: As part of the Inventory Control team within Global Aftersales at Al-Futtaim Automotive, the role focuses on balancing inventory costs with service levels, adhering to business recommendations. Currently, the team oversees stock management. The primary responsibility is to enhance forecast accuracy at both national and branch levels to ensure the timely procurement and availability of the right stock for customers. This is achieved by leveraging tools like Syncron to monitor demand transactions and taking proactive measures to mitigate the risk of stockouts. Continuous alignment with stakeholders is essential to understand business and market requirements, ensuring optimal stock health. What you will do:- Demand Planning & Analysis • Successful delivery of operations and projects objectives. • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements. • Ensure all urgent branch orders are processed on time, articles are created on time, branch stakeholders are kept up to date on ETA. • Expedite parts delivery from PDC to branches to service end customer and maintain branch NPS score. • Support discussions with OEM/Principals to understand Supply Chain constraints and implement measures to mitigate risk. • Conduct branch visits, liaise with stakeholders at all levels, review branch performance on a monthly basis. • Standardize and continuously improve inventory management/Supply chain delivery operations. • Initiate and participate in Kaizen activities. • Evaluate stock performance based on turnover, sales, lost sales, lead time and other factors affecting inventory performance. • Minimize the risk of aged stock by evaluating excess and slow-moving inventory and proactively discuss with sales & service teams for action plan. • Provide recommendations to product team to improve stock health and service levels. • Update and maintain parts data health.
- Brand Lead (For a specific Automotive Brand/Branch)• Responsible as single point of contact for all Dealerships/Workshops/Bodyshops in the UAE for respective brand for Stock/Supply Chain management. • Recall and Redistribution Order Processing and Follow up. • Monitor Auto Replenishment orders. • Review and Ensure availability of Stocked Parts at Branches. • Follow up on Service Level with respective Branch Representative.
- Lost Sales Analysis & Improvement • Gather inquiry information and analyze to identify part numbers that could increase company revenue. • Collect Lost Sales information from Sales team and take necessary action to improve availability. • Review Stocked and Non-Stocked Items and analyze root causes and coordinate to Ordering team for further actions. • Proactively work with Sales team to avoid Lost Sales or Local Purchase.
