Are you ready to jump onboard? We are looking for a Service Engineer, Propulsion. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore. What will you be doing as Service Engineer, Propulsion? Your work will focus on these responsibilities: Mechanical maintenance and overhauling skill require for FPP, CPP, Gearbox, Transverse thruster, Azimuth thruster and WaterJet etc Carry out Propulsion product trouble shoot, maintenance and investigation Execute Propulsion product warranty, commissioning work and supervision of new building project Executing warranty, commissioning work & supervision of Field Service. Preparing service work reports Technical communications with Wärtsilä field service stakeholders and customers To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: Ability to work on engine/propulsion with field service & marine engineer background Ability to understand, use and correct electrical and automation schematics and drawings, and related component level documentation. Possess suitable real-world knowledge and experience related to control system specification and design, marine power distribution, motor control, process sensors and instrumentation, valves, pumps, fans and other process system componentry. Good command of written and verbal English, Diploma/BSc in Mechanical, Marine, Electric & Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates who have propulsion FS experience.
