Doodle Labs | Senior Software Engineer/Software QA Engineer

Job Description Doodle Labs is the global leader in high-performance private wireless systems. We build cutting-edge mesh networks for robotics, drones, and the Industrial Internet of Things. Doodle Labs has experienced rapid growth over the past five years as our radio systems have been adopted by Fortune 500 companies (e.g., Airbus, General Electric) and industry-leading innovators (e.g., Boston Dynamics, FLIR). We’re looking for an experienced software engineer to join our talented team of software, hardware, and RF engineers. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing software/firmware test cases and CI/CD automation that are part of firmware/software releases. They should be a solid contributor and able to design, develop, code, test, and debug software test cases and software test automation. Core Skills: Experience in software test automation. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell script, JavaScript) for software test automation. Strong understanding of CI/CD and software best practices, with experience using tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket pipelines/GitLab CI. Additional Skills: Experience with embedded devices. Knowledge of networking concepts. Experience in software/system/product development lifecycle. Experience with Linux/WiFi. Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in software testing, with expertise in automation. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with a cross-functional team.
