Position Overview: The Chief of Staff will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to streamline operations, support strategic initiatives, and oversee cross-functional projects within org. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, thought partner, and operational backbone to the executive team, ensuring that key projects are executed effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail, a solid educational foundation, and strong ownership skills to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with the vision and growth objectives. Lead cross-functional projects from concept to execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Operational Efficiency: Analyze and optimize operational processes to increase efficiency and productivity across departments such as marketing, supply chain, sales, and customer experience.
- Leadership Support: Act as a right-hand to the CEO and senior management team, helping to prioritize and address critical business decisions. Provide insights and solutions to support day-to-day leadership challenges.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with investors, key business partners, and internal teams to ensure alignment on company goals. Prepare and deliver regular updates on company performance to stakeholders.
- Communication and Coordination: meetings-Preparing minutes of review meetings and following up on the actions and results. Identifying the key strategic priorities for the discussion. Organize and manage internal meetings, track follow-ups, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Project Management: Lead special projects, including product launches, store expansions, and market entry strategies, by coordinating teams and resources to ensure that goals are achieved on time and within budget.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze key metrics and data points to drive decisions that contribute to both short-term and long-term business success. Provide regular reports on progress to the executive team.
- Talent Management: Partner with HR to ensure talent is effectively managed across teams, and support the development of leadership within the company.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a must.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in retail, e-commerce, or fashion, with a strong understanding of the Indian market and customer behavior.
- Proven experience in cross-functional project management in fast-paced, high-growth environments and understands the business as well.
- Experience working with senior leadership teams and managing complex operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a focus on execution.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through change.
- Knowledge of retail fashion, e-commerce trends, and retail operations is a significant plus.
