The role Uniphar has determined that the Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) sector is a key strategic focus for the organisation. Working closely with the Strategic Director of Cell and Gene Therapy, this pivotal role will ensure the execution of the Cell and Gene Therapy strategy within Uniphar, in addition to collaborating with Clients on their strategies. This role provides opportunities for broad experience within the Uniphar Pharma division, collaborating with cross-functional teams and offering career development options across a diverse business. Responsibilities: Cell and Gene Therapy Strategy Management
- Management of the CGT strategic plan, including strategic planning process and maintenance of the plan.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of the strategic plan across all areas of the business, including business development, marketing, operations, finance, regulatory, and quality.
- Ownership of the CGT strategic imperatives ensures their delivery on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Tracking of industry trends identifying key opportunities for Uniphar, including key developments in clinical development and product approvals, areas of need within the industry and potential service development opportunities for Uniphar.
- Working with the Uniphar Access Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to manage the strategic imperative process.
- Facilitate the annual strategic imperative review and setting process.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process throughout the organisation on strategic imperative progress, ensuring key information is passed between stakeholders.
- Led the strategic consulting process with pharma and biotech companies, including the development and maintenance of project plans and management of the client relationship, including contracting, finances and meetings.
- Production of interim and regular reports, as required, to track progress of the project.
- Responsible for the production of final deliverables from the consultancy process.
- Educated to degree level, ideally in a life sciences discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a project management role with exposure to GxP practices
- Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation and drive excellence without direct control
- Competent with Microsoft Office and able to easily navigate Power point, Excel and Word
- Good written and verbal communication skills and capable of independently managing communications with clients
- Attention to detail with the ability and drive to deliver high-quality outputs
- Flexibility to working hours to meet the needs of a global business operating internally and with external organisations across multiple timezones
- Must be able to undertake reasonable levels of travel to satisfy internal requirements and client requirements
