Primary Responsibilities

  1. Ensure compliance to all laid down SoP and Work Instructions.
  2. Resolution of internal and external customer quality issues.
  3. Review of product/process non-conformity along with concerned production team to find out cause of the issue.
  4. Ensure compliance of CTQ requirements to eliminate repeat complaints from critical customers.
  5. Support the development of OHS policies and programs.
  6. Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
  7. Ensure timely preparation of departmental MIS report.
  8. Ensure timely feedback to concerned stakeholders in case of any issues to avoid delay in dispatch.
  9. Analyze Customer complaints as per laid down SoP with available internal and external information.
  10. Ensure all laid down Sop and WI followed by QA/QC team to achieve consistent product quality.
  11. Ensure manning of quality personnel on the shop floor as per the requirement.
  12. Review of quality reports for the compliance against the laid down quality plans.
  13. Provide inputs to production team to improve process capability by reducing process variability and improving process controls.
  14. Support the development of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) policies and programs.
  15. Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
  16. Initiate and organize OHS training of associates and executives.
  17. Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g., not using protective equipment).
  18. Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.

Key Result Areas

  • Eliminate customer complaint in shift for any quality/technical reason.
  • Eliminate deviations in shift (SAP entry, roll stamping, red card clearance, documentation, GMP practices on shop floor).
  • Monitor and devise action plan along with production team to achieve reduction in COPQ as per Business requirement.
  • Ensure order processing of customers as per Sales Order and Critical to Quality (CTQ).
  • Prepare Monthly Information System (MIS) report for the deviations observed along with the action plan which includes the CAPA effectiveness submitted against the internal rejection.
