Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Civil) Nationality: Any Nationality Vacancy: 1 Vacancy Job Description:

Conduct thorough analysis of project drawings and specifications to determine accurate quantities and costs.
Develop detailed and competitive cost estimates for tender submissions, ensuring all materials, labor, and overhead costs are included.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements, aligning estimates with project goals.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best pricing and terms for materials and services.
Prepare and present comprehensive tender submissions, including cost breakdowns, schedules, and risk assessments to senior management.
Monitor and analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations to maintain competitive edge in tendering processes.
Review and evaluate subcontractor bids, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budget constraints.
Utilize estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in cost calculations.
Participate in post-tender reviews to assess bid performance and identify areas for improvement in future submissions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth tendering processes.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is essential for understanding technical aspects of projects.
Proven experience of 7+ years in estimating within the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects to demonstrate capability.
Professional certifications such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or equivalent are highly preferred for credibility in the field.
Experience in commercial and residential construction sectors will provide a diverse perspective necessary for complex estimating tasks.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional language can enhance communication in diverse project environments.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial for accurate cost estimation and risk assessment.
Proficient in using estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools to streamline the estimating process.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills are vital for effective collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders.
A proactive approach and ability to work under pressure are essential for meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset are important for building relationships within the organization and with external partners.
