In addition to your competitive package and benefits you will have access to a suite of policies that include hybrid working arrangements, individual athletic sponsorship, study assistance sponsorship, employee referral rewards.ResponsibilitiesOur newest opportunity is for a talented ITS Engineer - Telecommunication, seconded to our Client from government sector in Doha, Qatar.We envisage success in this role to include:Monitoring and supporting the Road Management Centre (RMC) systems necessary to ensure secure and reliable 24/7 ITS communications to deliver the performance and availability service levels required for ITS operations.Reviewing and witnessing ITS project commissioning to ensure the telecommunications elements fully meet the Client ITS specifications and telecommunications strategy requirements.Performing required activities associated with projects and existing ITS assets (investigation, analysis and design) to support effective programme delivery and maintaining the integrity of the Client ITS telecommunications network.Reviewing and analysing the day-to-day management and performance of the ITS telecommunications maintenance & operations contractor to ensure the availability and performance targets for the network are being met and that best practices are being followed.Monitoring the preventive maintenance activities of the ITS telecommunications maintenance & operations contractor to ensure that secondary and contingency measures are available and will work should any equipment fail across the network.Understanding detailed plans, specifications and estimates for roadway Intelligent Traffic System implementation projects and advise on suitability of proposed telecommunications design and configuration.Preparing and registering all relevant documentation and design reports and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and received within the system held by Client.Working in collaboration with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design of projects and ensure as-built drawings and data sheets are accurate and complete.Contributing to the resolution of technical issues, such as substandard products, on projects and providing technical guidance to other team members.Maintaining on-going communication with relevant stakeholders and sub-contractors to build relationships and communication networks ensuring quality of service.Carrying out site visits and survey inspections and supervise Client sub-contractors.QualificationsTo be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 5 years' experience in specialist area including experience in deploying and managing Wide Area Networks and Local Area Networks partnered with a Bachelor of Engineering or relevant, from an accredited University or College program.Chartered Membership in Engineering or Relevant professional body would be an advantage.Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications or equivalent for Telemetry, Network Hardware and software Certification.Competent in Microsoft Office Packages and Network Management Systems.KEO's performance is founded upon integrity, results, innovation, safety and our people.
