JOB SUMMARY Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, setting a high standard for the team Assist in training, mentoring, and supporting new retail associates to ensure they understand company policies and procedures Handle complex customer inquiries, complaints and issues and resolve issues promptly Support the Store-in-Charge (SIC)/Retail Supervisor with inventory management and stock replenishment Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently met Monitor sales floor and backroom for organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards Assist with daily opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash registers 1. STRIVE TO ACHIEVE SALES TARGET To achieve sales targets through effective sales techniques of upselling and cross-selling To assist Store-in-Charge (SIC) with mentoring and guidance of new team members to ensure complete understanding of all products, brand guidelines including up-sell items, as well as any promotions and mechanics or in-store activities Ensure understanding of all key retail metrics and targets given (e.g. monthly sales target, ATV target etc) Identify opportunities to maximize customer purchase through additional or complementary sales 2. CUSTOMER SERVICE Projects a professional well-groomed image Greet and engage with customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere with assistance from OSCAR techniques Provides excellent customer service with appropriate products based on customers’ needs and preferences Identifies and handles customers’ inquiries promptly and professionally in accordance with company and airport refund policy Assist SICs/Supervisors to ensure all checks are conducted and done properly before submitting for review of customers’ refunds/exchanges Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and inform/educate customers on new features, benefits and trends Stay informed of new arrivals, promotions and store events to assist SICs when they are not around 3. CASHIERING Complete customer transactions in a professional, timely manner and with the highest level of respect Ensure accuracy in the collection of money from various modes of payment Process sales transactions on POS cash register and handle various payment modes with accuracy and speed to avoid delays to customers’ departure timing Check and ensure details on daily cash sheet and cash floats are accurate and in order 4. MERCHANDISING & STOCK MANAGEMENT Ensure that the store presentation is well maintained i.e. shelves are replenished, fixtures are clean, and prices are present in good condition Work with and guide junior team members on stock receiving/transfers and packing from warehouse/internal stores to maintain sufficient stock inventory Maintain and check on stock inventory to be in order with accurate daily cycle counts Maintain attentiveness to all customers while being vigilant and pay special attention for any suspicious customer behaviors and promptly report to SIC/senior, if required Assist VM/Marketing team to ensure entire store display is well maintained, as per visual merchandising’s and/or Brand’s guidelines Observe and communicate feedback gathered on in-store activities to SIC 5. OTHERS Support SICs on all store initiatives. Example: New store set-up, promotional activities, store change etc. Ensure Well Done checklist is duly checked and completed Any other ad hoc duties assigned PROFILE & COMPETENCIES Candidates who are eligible to work in Singapore are encouraged to apply Minimum GCE “O” Level with at least 4 years of relevant experience in high-end fashion/luxury industry or in a similar capacity Comfortable working in Changi Airport on retail shift hours, including weekends and public holidays (5 workdays per week) Passion in retail industry with good selling skills Fluent in English. Additional spoken languages are a plus. A good team player with a pleasant personality Positive attitude with willingness to learn Possess basic computer skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
