• International HRM Industry Environment• Location: Doha, Qatar• Exceptional Salary in Leading Edge CompanyOur client is a newly established quasi government agency responding to global food security concerns arising from expanding global demand for food, feed, and bio-fuels, rising energy prices, increasing land and water scarcity, and the effects of climate change. The firm's mission is to develop a comprehensive and sustainable long-term solution to the challenges that the State of Qatar faces regarding its Food Security. The objective is to enhance domestic agricultural production and strengthen the security of food imports to alleviate the food supply deficit that Qatar faces. The Board now wishes to recruit a Director for Human Resources as a member of their executive team with international experience. This role is responsible for leading the HR effort and enabling the delivery of the firm's goals to ensure a unique and sustainable future for food security initiatives in Qatar, as well as the development of a market-leading global consulting enterprise.Key Responsibilities:Direct, lead, and manage a multi-disciplined human resource team in the food security sector to ensure organizational HR targets are met and delivered.Plan, define, agree, and deliver human resource strategy for the program and its components in line with the firm's vision and mission, both current and future.Translate corporate values and attitudes into operational processes capable of developing and implementing policies for selection, recruitment, compensation, and support people with the aim of driving a high-performance organization.Anticipate major HR roadblocks and prepare possible measures to counter them.Increase knowledge of the latest trends.Attributes Required:Degree in Human Resources or comparable with postgraduate study to Masters level or MCIPD / FCIPD or SHRM is desirable.A minimum of 15 years' human resource experience and at least 7 years' experience at management level is essential, with a hands-on attitude.A proven background as a Strategist and Practitioner in HR is required with a solid track record in successfully developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives.Candidates with a consulting firm mindset will be highly regarded, as will extensive exposure in resourcing and recruitment.The ability to implement international best practices across a start-up organization is required.Strong leadership abilities with superior communication skills and a high level of professionalism.Problem-solving and root cause identification skills.Able to embrace change and influence others toward a common vision or goal.Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.A competitive salary package will be offered to attract exceptional candidates to this growth organization.
