Senior Quantity Surveyor

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing administrative works of tender projects to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of tender projects. The primary responsibilities include handling documentation and assisting with the tenders with various administrative tasks. CURRENT PROPOSED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparation and submission of Tender/Quotation/BO.
- Project cost estimates on various materials needed for a project.
- Prepare contracts, legal tender documents, invoices, and other documentation.
- Document and track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Hire or procure subcontractors based on the presented budget to the client.
- Scrutinize maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaison with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the project follows the timeline.
- Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction.
- Value completed work, analyze outcomes and prepare progress reports.
- Manage any ad-hoc tasks and projects as and when required.
- Sound knowledge of tender process and tender management.
- Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of related experience in building construction.
- Cost pricing experience is advantageous.
