What are you going to do
- Receives incoming mail, in-house magazines, and club newsletters, sorts them, and arranges to distribute them to entitled employees and departments.
- Registers mails for local banks, courts, government departments, and ministries on the peon books (or alternative) and sends through the messenger to the respective offices.
- Receives incoming registered mails, checks and signs for acknowledgment, records them on the registers, and ensures that they are collected by the respective Departments.
- Ensures that all registered items are signed before they are released.
- Ensures that mail for locations such as Dukhan, Mesaieed, and Ras Laffan are sorted out, packed, and sent out through the assigned driver at scheduled timings.
- Items requiring acknowledgment like courier documents and registered parcels are recorded in the peon book (or alternative) and dispatched separately to ensure promptness of such deliveries.
- Receives mails from the concerned department and re-posts them for former employees to the address/destination provided.
- Provides the monthly statistical data reflecting the volume of activities in the mail room to the concerned employee in the Section to be incorporated in the Monthly Report and follows up with Messengers for prompt and timely movement of mail items.
- Completion of Secondary School education.
- Bilingual, ability to read, write, and speak Arabic and English.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in handling similar responsibilities.
