This individual will play a key role in project planning, execution, delivery, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and an aptitude for aligning technology with business objectives.ResponsibilitiesProject Management:Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver software development projects on time, within scope, and budget.Utilize Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA for effective project tracking and reporting.Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and alignment with project goals.Facilitate team development by identifying training needs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Technical Leadership:Leverage hands-on experience in software development (full-stack), quality assurance, and maintenance to guide technical teams.Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance benchmarks, and security protocols.Client Communication & Collaboration:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication of project progress, challenges, and resolutions.Conduct project kick-offs, regular status updates, and milestone reviews with stakeholders.Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement and exceptional service delivery.Pre-Sales & Proposal Development:Support pre-sales activities by preparing project estimations, proposals, and technical solutions tailored to client requirements.Collaborate with business development teams to define project scope and deliver winning proposals.Knowledge Management & Process Optimization: Document lessons learned, best practices, and technical solutions to contribute to organisational knowledge.Continuously improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Business Alignment:Understand and align project goals with business objectives, ensuring that delivered solutions provide tangible value to stakeholders.Analyse business needs to translate them into technical solutions that meet or exceed expectations.Requirements and Qualifications:Education & Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in software development, quality assurance, and technical project management.Technical Skills:Hands-on experience in software development (full-stack development preferred) and maintenance.Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).Strong understanding of quality assurance practices and support/maintenance processes.Project Management Skills:Proven experience in project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering business value.Excellent estimation, resource allocation, and pre-sales proposal development skills.Communication & Interpersonal Skills:Outstanding client-facing and internal communication skills, including presentation and reporting abilities.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience in knowledge management and process optimisation.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices is a plus.
