Optellix is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Content Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical content, procedure manuals, marketing materials, and technical proposals that effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across all documentation.Key Responsibilities1. Content Creation & ManagementResearch, outline, write, and edit technical content, collaborating with various departments to understand project requirements.Gather information from subject-matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.Create and edit technical proposals tailored to client needs, clearly outlining technical solutions, methodologies, and deliverables.Develop content in multiple formats (blogs, whitepapers, videos, infographics, etc.) for maximum usability while maintaining a consistent tone and voice.Repurpose existing content into various forms, such as blogs, posts, or presentations, to maximize impact and reach.2. Documentation & ProcessesWork with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, edit and revise existing materials, and determine the best solutions for centralized storage and accessibility.Research, create, and maintain templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards for easy data migration.Develop visuals and diagrams to complement technical support content.3. Collaboration & OptimizationCollaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to improve user experience, refine UI/UX content, and ensure technical accuracy.Conduct regular brainstorming sessions to bring fresh ideas to the table and contribute to continuous improvement.Stay updated on industry trends, including SEO and social media practices, to optimize content visibility and engagement.Required Skills & QualificationsTwo or more years of proven experience as a Technical Writer or Content Specialist.Experience in creating documentation, technical proposals, and procedure manuals tailored to various audiences.Superb written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.Ability to quickly grasp and simplify complex technical subject matter.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and tools like Microsoft Outlook.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.Preferred Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Communications, or a relevant technical field.Professional certification (e.g., Society for Technical Communication) is a plus.Experience in software development industries is preferred.Exposure to topics such as Entrepreneurship, Sales, Marketing, and Finance is preferred.Understanding of SEO, social media, and content optimization practices.Familiarity with XML tools for documentation creation.Assertive, go-getter attitude with a collaborative approach to brainstorming and debate.
