Nursery nannies - Emirati

Job Purpose: Welfare and hygiene care of infants (45 days – 2 years) Key Relationships (Internal and External): Infant Assistants, infants, teachers, parents, Manager, and other members of the school management team. Key Accountabilities:

1. Works under the guidance, instruction, and supervision of the Manager who sets tasks and duties related to the care and supervision of the infants on a day-to-day basis.
2. The Manager has overall responsibility for the Nanny’s work and performance.
3. Attends and performs duties as required to aid the cleanliness and wellbeing of the infants through intimate care.
4. Provides support for infant assistants, for example, performing routine tasks such as feeding, sleeping, cleaning babies, diaper changing, and comforting infants who may be upset or feeling unwell.
5. Helps to maintain tidiness and organization in the infants’ room and contributes to a safe, caring, nurturing environment for the infants.
6. Assists infant assistants in planning age-appropriate activities.
7. Is required to respond to any reasonable request made by the class teachers and/or teaching assistants to support the wellbeing of the children in her care.
