Job description: Are you an ambitious team player looking for an opportunity to drive forward your sales career? ARYZTA, a leading multinational food company, is looking for an organised, commercially focused Key Account Executive to join its expanding Retail Convenience Sales team. The Role Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager Retail, this role focuses on supporting the development and execution of ARYZTAs retail growth strategy within leading convenience retailers in the Irish market. The position plays a critical role in managing day-to-day account operations, fostering customer relationships, and delivering key commercial objectives through strategic planning and proactive market engagement. This individual will: Collaborate with customers on Joint Business Plans and promotional activities to drive mutual growth. Coordinate product launches, forecasting, and listings to align Maintain and update price files, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Monitor and report on account performance, identifying trends and opportunities. Conduct regular store reviews to stay informed about market trends and competitor activity within the convenience sector. Provide actionable insights to the business based on market observations and data analysis. Working Relationships Internal Relationship Management: You will demonstrate a strong ability to engage with cross functional teams, including the Commercial, Product, Technical, Marketing, Insight, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain. External Relationship Management: You will co-ordinate and integrate all relevant functions involved in managing the customer and ensure successful delivery of strategic business plans for both customer and ARYZTA. Key responsibilities: Support the Senior Account Manager in all aspects of delivering business plans for designated customers. Key contact for day-to-day enquiries (internal & external) and proactively working with the cross functional teams. Develop strong working relationship with customers. Deliver product presentations. Build comprehensive product knowledge of ARYZTAs product offer & understand competitors across the retail convenience sector. Full ongoing analysis of customers performance utilising ARYZTA internal sales tools to create and execute plans to ensure consistent growth is delivered. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and analysis to the business across all customers. Work with the wider retail field teams on activities agreed with H/O accounts for implementation in store. Be a leader within the channel, work with the team on strategic plans for the next 3 years. Key attributes include: Experience and knowledge of the Food Business in the FMCG Retail Convenience sector is essential. Customer focused. Team player. Excellent communication/presentation skills. Strong commercial awareness. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint & SAP applications.
