Barden are delighted to be appointed by the CEO of a growing business to identify a CFO to join the leadership team in 2025. The business is a leader in the renewables space and has made significant strides in recent years, and is primed to make further advancements in the coming years. They have a very impressive client base and an excellent reputation in their respective field.The CEO is seeking a driven individual who can help the company achieve its ambitious targets. Key traits for the CEO are commercial acumen, risk awareness, strategic & growth mindset, and natural leadership capabilities.Please reach out directly to Denis Galvin (denis.galvin@barden.ie) for more information.ABOUT THE ROLEDevelop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals.Provide insights into the company's long-term financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies.Monitor the company's cash flow, optimising working capital, ensuring a balance between growth and financial stability.Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.Communicate the company's financial performance to the board of directors, investors, and stakeholders.Manage monthly management accounts and monthly variance analysis & operational KPIs.Supervise accounting, auditing, and financial control functions.Lead the finance team and ensure the accuracy of financial data and internal controls.Identify and mitigate financial risks that could affect the company's profitability.Oversee insurance, hedging, and other strategies to manage financial risk.Ensure compliance with all statutory and taxation obligations, mitigating exposures and optimising available structures.Analyse and control operational costs to maximize profitability.Work closely with other departments to improve financial performance and cost-efficiency across the organization.Relationship management:Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external stakeholders such as banks, revenue authorities, and financial institutions.Key point of contact to the board and investors.ABOUT THE PERSONQualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with Big 4 experience and 8-10(+) years post-qualification.High commercial awareness, excellent analytical, technical, IT skills, and advanced MS Excel knowledge.Extensive management experience, excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Desirable experience would include experience in a high-growth business.Apply with your CV.By submitting your CV application, you consent to your data being used as outlined in our Privacy Policy.Thank you for applying to this jobThank you for your application.
