Duties:

This officer will be required to provide on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements on CSSS-II, which is a mission-critical system. The duties include:

1. To assist in providing delivery works for the on-going maintenance, problem diagnosis, system security, system enhancements, etc. of the CSSS-II;
2. To assist in impact analysis, hardware and software upgrade, testing, system acceptance, system management and quality assurance;
3. To assist in the inventory control, deployment and disposal of IT equipment;
4. To coordinate among users, contractors and parties concerned in the acceptance test of IT equipment and services for system enhancements and office relocation;
5. To provide secretarial support for CSSS-II meetings and prepare reports for the system management of CSSS-II;
6. To arrange maintenance with contractors for the automatic queuing system;
7. To perform on-call support duties.

Requirements:

The candidate must have:

1. Good command of written English and fluent in Cantonese;
2. Solid experience in supporting mission-critical systems for the government.

Experience in supporting social security service systems is preferred. Technical Skills:

1. At least 2 years' experience in DB2 Administration (DBA);
2. At least 2 years' experience in IBM AIX Administration (IAA);
3. At least 2 years' experience in Lotus Notes Mail Admin. & Technical Support (LNM);
4. At least 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL).

Non-technical Skill:

1. At least 1 year's experience working with the Government (GOV).

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
2. At least 5 years' post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
