This esteemed individual will play a crucial role in the university's executive leadership, overseeing various departments including finance, human resources, IT, and facilities management.Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned professional with exceptional leadership skills to oversee the university's administrative operations. As the Senior Executive Vice President for Operations, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice to the president, supervising staff activities in administrative departments, streamlining processes, and collaborating with the development team to create and implement academic strategic plans.Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Advice: Provide recommendations to the president on university-wide initiatives and propose improvements.
- Departmental Oversight: Supervise staff activities in administrative departments, ensuring seamless operations and effective resource allocation.
- Process Improvement: Streamline administrative processes, facilitating efficient accomplishment and securing required approvals.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the development team to create and implement academic strategic plans, driving growth and excellence.
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial matters, including collections, budgets, and expenditures.
- Campus Maintenance: Manage buildings, grounds, repairs, construction, and remodeling projects to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Purchasing and Procurement: Supervise purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimal resource allocation.
- Staff Management: Directly manage staff salaries, benefits, visas, housing, and government personnel regulations, ensuring fairness and adherence to policies.
- Personnel Operations: Oversee recruitment, contracting, termination, training, development, and induction programs for administrative staff, as well as disciplinary actions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit annual reports on administrative and financial operations to the president.
Requirements
- A recognized Ph.D. from a reputable institution, aligned with Article 39 of the HEC Resolution No. 206/2023.
- Suitable academic and administrative experience.
- A strong professional reputation.
What We Offer
