Job Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with architectural plans and specifications.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns related to the architectural aspects of the project.
- Monitor construction progress and quality to ensure that work is being completed according to schedule and meets the required standards.
- Document and report any deviations or non-compliance with architectural plans and specifications and propose corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and support to contractors and construction teams regarding architectural details, materials, and construction techniques.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the feasibility of proposed architectural designs and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated on industry standards, building codes, and regulations related to architectural design and construction.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other project team members to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and objectives.
- Monitor and document the progress of construction work, ensuring that all aspects adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Review and approve contractor submittals and change orders.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in architectural inspection, with a strong focus on villas & high-rise projects and consultancy work.
- Extensive knowledge of architectural principles, construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software for documentation and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Experience with Dubai projects and familiarity with local regulations and standards.
