DescriptionReporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Production Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring safety, resources, inventory, service/production schedules and processes are being led and directed with the guidance of management. Additionally, this role will ensure customer and organizational objectives are being met.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading and guiding staff membersReconciliation of production inventory locations into the systemData entry of key transactions within the production and warehouse processesMonitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepanciesIdentify material needs for production or warehouse functionsAudit and validate inventory transactionsCoordinate between planning, production and shipping to ensure operational alignmentResearch and troubleshoot inventory issues and perform adjustments afterWork on special projects as directedResponsible for carrying out company policy and initiativesRequirementsExperience in a manufacturing or light manufacturing environment including warehouse operationsPrevious experience with inventory, manufacturing and warehouse operationsFunctional knowledge of bill of materials as they relate to the production processFunctional knowledge of inventory control processes and practicesFunctional knowledge of general warehouse and shipping/receiving processesExperience operating PIT equipmentKnowledge - Skills - AbilitiesKnowledge of manufacturing scheduling/planningKnowledge of production operations both clerical and directProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience working with ERP systemsAbility to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines while performing with a high degree of accuracyInterpersonal skills to collaborate with various individuals in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, and the potential to function in a supervisory rolePossess leadership, organization, and prioritization skills with a strong work ethicExcellent verbal and written communicationPhysical RequirementsAbility to work in a chemical manufacturing plantOccasionally it may be required to reach, squat, bend, and lift up to 25 lbsOvertime will be necessary
