Project Manager
Responsibilities
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget, ensuring alignment with both Bitsol and client business objectives and requirements.
Execution and Monitoring: Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques while ensuring the active communication with the client.
Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, gathering requirements, providing regular updates, and addressing any concerns promptly.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, while keeping the client informed to ensure successful project delivery.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, providing updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, and ensuring team members are aligned with client's project centric goals.
Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations through rigorous testing and review processes.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations in coordination with the client.
Conflict Management: Address and resolve conflicts or issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth project progression and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the software development industry.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, with the ability to manage technical projects effectively.
Client-Facing Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in engaging directly with clients, gathering requirements, and providing updates.
Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project challenges.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Agile Methodology Expertise: Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with the ability to lead Agile teams, conduct sprint planning, and facilitate daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and manage project scope effectively in a dynamic environment.
Conflict Resolution: Excellent conflict resolution skills, with the ability to mediate disputes and ensure a harmonious working environment.
Resource Management: Expertise in resource planning and allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of team members to meet project deadlines.
Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to analyse project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
