Role Summary The Project Manager role falls within the Asia Pacific Customer Implementation - Customer Programme Management (CPM). The team has a global remit to implement and complete programmes and projects across all customers to drive efficient execution, client value, customer loyalty and LSEG revenue. The team works with colleagues across Sales and Account Management, Global and Key Strategic Accounts, Customer Operations and Customer Propositions to ensure we deliver on LSEG strategic objectives and revenue targets through execution and implementation. The Project Manager will drive large client implementations across Asia from Kuala Lumpur. The focus will be on legacy product upgrades as well as desktop and content displacements to increase revenue, market share and retention. The role will be instrumental in ensuring that the clients have the best experience of a displacement or upgrade programme by leading all aspects of the overall process from beginning to end. This includes engaging with the customer on meeting the technical requirements to upgrade from a legacy product or on the overall feasibility of taking an LSEG offering over a competitor product. Services in scope include desktops as well as areas such as market data-feeds, post-trade, hosting and risk, either in the context of a migration programme or a one-off customer initiative. Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the Account Team to identify clients and determine the most efficient approach to drive the projects.
  • Engage with clients to define a migration path to our latest services and plan the vital activities.
  • Take full accountability of a project and manages performance throughout execution to maximise the value delivered to the customer.
  • Lead and drive virtual teams to deliver the project and ensure a successful outcome.
  • Establish and maintain a good operating rhythm for each project.
  • Provide timely and accurate status reporting.
  • Manage project risks and raise to appropriate accountable owners where required.
  • Handle content/functionality gaps and bring them up to the owners to improve the lead time and ensure timely billing start.
  • Log lessons learned to keep improving our methodologies and practices.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Project management qualification and significant post qualification experience.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience up to C-Level.
  • Ability to encourage trust, lead expectations, gain consensus and sponsorship from key stakeholders.
  • Consistent track record of working in a matrix environment and handling across different cultures.
  • Understands the processes and commercials around the products in scope.
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and the key competitors in this space.
  • Background in working with financial institutions and good understanding of market data preferable.
  • Experience pitching LSEG products and capabilities is a bonus.
  • Japanese proficiency a plus.
