The Role They are looking for an energetic and seasoned VP of Sales to spearhead their sales efforts and propel their revenue growth. Are you ready to embark on this exciting journey with them? Here are the primary responsibilities for this role:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that foster organic growth and align with their company's objectives.
- Seek out and capitalize on new business opportunities to broaden their customer base and increase revenue.
- Lead, guide, and inspire a team of sales professionals to meet performance targets.
- Maintain key relationships with strategic customers.
- Provide precise quarterly sales performance analyses and commit to achieving quarterly booking goals.
- Collaborate closely with the executive team to design and execute lead generation programs.
- Academic degree in a technical field or equivalent (finance/business administration acceptable).
- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and industry trends, along with the ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including active listening and the ability to lead meetings and presentations.
- Proven drive and results-oriented mindset, consistently exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to thrive and collaborate effectively in a diverse, multinational environment.
- Strong numerical skills, capable of adjusting business models for customer satisfaction through advanced negotiation techniques.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in direct sales of Software and/or OSS/BSS solutions to Tier 1 Mobile Operators globally.
- Demonstrated sales experience and a successful track record with complex software solutions.
- At least 4 years in a senior management role with a proven history of:
- Building and enhancing global sales teams
- Managing multiple teams across different geographies and cultures
- Generating annual organic growth
- Acquiring new clients
- Establishing strong connections with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Flexibility to work across global time zones and travel as required.
- Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus.
