Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Proton Beam Therapy System) Reference ID: 36041 One of our clients, one of the biggest Manufacturing/IT/Trading firms in Japan, is now looking for an Electrical Engineer. Reporting Supervisor: Deputy Site Manager Division: IPB Shift: 5 am - 2 pm, 1 pm - 10 pm (1 hour break)【Responsibilities】 Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on the PBT (Proton Beam Therapy) system, including testing, inspection, adjustment, and calibration tasks at heights and within equipment enclosures. Maintain, test, and troubleshoot key systems, including Accelerator systems, Irradiation devices, Patient alignment systems, Safety interlock systems. Monitor the operation of the PBT system and identify areas for performance improvement. Adopt and integrate new technology, products, and processes to enhance system functionality. Respond promptly to service calls, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction. Fulfill work orders, submit reports (including timecards, working reports, and expense reports), and adhere to company and customer procedures. Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning activities when necessary. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including radiation safety regulations, company policies, and applicable laws. Work with high-voltage equipment, magnetic fields, and radiation-prone environments. 【What they are offering】 AWS Variable Bonus: 2–3 months (Based on company's & individual performance) Annual Leave: 15 days Medical Leave Shift Allowance: SGD 700/month Flexible Benefits: SGD 800/year Medical Check-up: Provided by the company Salary Increment: Subject to performance review 【Requirements】(Must) Diploma or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. At least 3 years of relevant experience with large-scale electrical systems. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, especially in high-voltage, radiation, and electromagnetic field environments. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering documents such as schematics, circuit diagrams, and piping diagrams. Hands-on experience with electronic test and measurement instruments (e.g., DVM, oscilloscopes, and micrometres). Proven ability to troubleshoot and understand complex equipment and systems. Physically capable of working at heights and handling machinery items weighing up to 20kg. Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
