Work Locations: Hilton Garden Inn Bahrain Bay 4661 Manama 17000110 Position Purpose: To a) be a passionate, bright-hearted host and highly collaborative member of the guest operations team and b) maximise customer spend whilst delivering exceptional brand-specific experiences, mainly in F&B but also in other areas of the hotel. Duties & Key Responsibilities:Being a Great Team Member

- Be a reliable and motivated member of the guest operations team.
- Communicate clearly and constructively with other team members to help deliver great guest experiences in all areas of your hotel.
- Be a role model for others by demonstrating passionate, friendly brand-specific guest service at all times.
- Always deliver ‘fair share’ in team tasks and support colleagues whose workload may temporarily be heavy, including helping out in stewarding, housekeeping, and FO.
- Provide constructive suggestions/feedback to your Line Manager on products, processes, and procedures to contribute to our continuous improvement efforts.
- Be aware of planned team meetings and learning sessions and attend as required.
- Show interest in learning something new every day.
- Participate positively in pre and post-shift briefs and hotel team huddles and apply learning the next day.
- Volunteer to participate in company campaigns like Travel with Purpose or TM committees.
- Execute duties as assigned by the Hotel Leadership team.
- Be open to acquiring new knowledge and skills in areas such as kitchen, HSK, or FO to provide support to these departments where required, improving chances of faster career progression.
F&B Specifics
- Organise your assigned ‘work area’ to deliver the pre-service and service tasks effectively & efficiently, in line with our quality and service standards.
- Constantly maintain your work area clean and tidy.
- Take time to be a great host, engage in small conversations, and actively ask guests for their feedback. Immediately take actions to make it right where required.
- Constantly look for areas of improvement when taking orders and delivering food to guests to further enhance guest experience in all our F&B outlets.
- Understand the specifications of the dishes we sell, their price, and the processes designed to present them to our customers in our F&B outlets.
- Actively upsell our products and provide advice to guests on food recommendations and beverage pairing.
- After 6 months in the role, decide whether the scope of your role should be extended to Front Office duties & responsibilities. If the decision is to extend the scope of the role, participate in all respective trainings and complete all assigned e-learning courses within the set deadlines.
- Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
- Ability to work on your own or in teams.
- Previous Food and Beverage and/or industry experience.
