What you'll be doing The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, shipping, inventory management, and warehouse facility management. The warehouse supervisor must lead a team in a busy environment, possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. What you’ll need to succeed To supervise the warehouse team for timely and efficient completion of day-to-day activities such as Goods Inward, Order preparation, Dispatch, Product manipulation, and Housekeeping. Evaluate daily workload, plan, and allocate workforce to complete daily objectives. Supervise product put away strategies in WMS and pack keys. Organize and review daily tasks of shift Team leaders. Ensure that shift reports are filled and passed to the next shift. Ensure customer requirements are satisfied, maintain a high level of accuracy on stocks, and minimize damages. Ensure a pleasant and cooperative working environment, communicate effectively between management and the shop floor, motivate and lead the team to achieve logistics objectives, conduct team briefings, provide on-the-job coaching, and performance feedback to staff. Plan with the warehouse manager for staff annual leave, identify training requirements, and ensure resources are efficiently utilized. Ensure machinery, equipment, consumables, and other resources are properly planned, used, and maintained.
