- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
- Field work: including investigations, topographic survey and construction inspection;
- Prepare and verify compliance with contract drawings and specifications;
- Develop and review plans and specifications;
- Investigate and gather information and industry standards, all while having a voice to propose new methods and strategies;
- Complete quantity and cost estimating;
- Create specifications, guidelines and report on study findings;
- Design, draft, and model a variety of infrastructure scenarios;
- Attend meetings and liaison with stakeholders;
- Develop proposals and reports;
- Project and client management.
- Must have and maintain a valid class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation;
- A Diploma in Civil Technology or a Degree in Engineering. Previous construction or industry experience will also be considered;
- Use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with AutoCAD;
- Understanding of construction principles, standard practices and regulations;
- Demonstrate sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety;
- Assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands;
- Document written forms and express decisions effectively;
- Ability to read and interpret standard procedures, applicable rules and regulations;
- Along with your resume, prepare a cover letter stating your desired work location in Atlantic Canada and your availability to relocate within Atlantic Canada;
- Ensure all education / work experience and dates for each are included;
