Senior Executive, Logistics Operation (Chilled/Frozen Food)-Night Shift

Job Description

• Negotiate with 3PL cold chain transporters and external warehouse storage quotations and review on a quarterly basis based on market trends to strive for lower delivery costs.
• Liaise and coordinate with logistic companies to ensure smooth operations and delivery of goods to customers to achieve OTIF KPI Target.
• Perform depot management to ensure optimum stock levels and order fulfillment.
• Guide and coach new personnel on their operational duties.
• Perform cold chain quality management and audits to ensure no cold chain breaks in delivery, depot, 3PL facilities, and distributor storage while maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Maintain the depot and equipment provided by the company in good condition.
• Implement operations policies, procedures, safety, and regulations.
• Ensure documentation, reports, and market and customer intelligence are channeled to the relevant departments in a timely manner.
• Build strong internal and external relationships to solve customer complaints and problems through understanding and negotiations.
• Review and monitor daily last-mile delivery operations to increase truck load utilization and engage with the sales team to improve orders for low utilization routes to achieve cost savings.
• Cooperate with the Plant first-mile logistics team to ensure timely delivery to the depot and distributor to meet last-mile delivery KPI targets.
• Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by management from time to time.
