Chef, Jin Myungdong Korean Noodles. Location: 9-230 Commerce Valley

Drive East Thornhill, ON. Salary: 28.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per

week. Full time. Day, Evening, Weekend. Starts as soon as possible.

Languages English. Education Secondary (high) school graduation

certificate. Experience 1 year to less than 2 years. Work setting.

Responsibilities: Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food

items. Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking

staff. Create new recipes. Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking,

garnishing and presentation of food. Supervise cooks and other kitchen

staff. Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests

or functions. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Plan menus and

ensure food meets quality standards. Train staff in preparation,

cooking and handling of food. Supervision. 3-4 people. Experience and

specialization. Cuisine specialties. Korean. Food specialties. Fish

and seafood. Meat, poultry and game. Stocks, soups and sauces.

Vegetables, fruits, nuts and mushrooms.
