Jr. Software Engineer in Test (SDET) – 12 months Fintech Multinational in the Payments domain is looking for a Software Engineer in test for their Merchant Acceptance Program ensuring quality of the product by performing efficient testing and automation. Role:
- Responsible for design & development of automated tests
- Responsible to ensure high performance applications which are secure, scalable and error free
- Design and Develop Test Cases: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
- Execute Testing: Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to identify bugs and ensure product quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to ensure quality at every stage of the development process.
- Documentation: Document test results, create test reports, and provide feedback to improve product quality and testing processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, provide feedback on design and implementation, and suggest improvements to testing methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), and experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
- Methodologies: Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with CI/CD: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Performance Testing: Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
