People Operations Manager - Saudi National

We are an AI-powered expense management platform designed to simplify finance for businesses in the Middle East, helping them save both time and money. Our platform offers everything businesses need to manage and control their expenses in one place, including smart corporate cards, AI-powered automation and insights, streamlined accounting, and centralized dashboards. Since 2022, over 1000 businesses in the UAE—from startups to enterprises like Al Barari, Rove, Rivoli, Punjab National Bank, and CarSwitch—have used Alaan to control their spending and reduce costs. Together, our customers have saved over AED 100 million using Alaan. As our company continues its rapid growth, we’re seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic People Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you'll take ownership of our People Operations in KSA and drive our strategy forward. You'll be the go-to person for all things related to employee experience and organizational development. What you'll do

  • Be the owner of our People initiatives in KSA, including office management, employee onboarding, and employee relations
  • Be the owner of our Corporate initiatives in KSA, including understanding company obligations, and ensuring timelines are met
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that enhances employee engagement and supports a high-performance environment
  • Help with talent acquisition and retention strategies, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent
  • Continuously evaluate and improve People and Corporate processes, systems, and policies to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner
  • Support the Leadership team in developing and executing People strategies that align with our company’s goals and support our growth trajectory

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of progressive People Ops experience, with a portion in a senior or managerial role within a fast-paced startup or growth-stage company
  • Deep understanding of how to build and maintain a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels
  • Proven track record of solving complex people issues and driving change in a dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, performance management software, and other HR tools, with a keen ability to leverage data for decision-making
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Candidates must be a citizen of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
