Job description 

 19.10.24  To operate a computerized bar code scanner to process returns according to client guidelines . Working knowledge of computers • Ability to work under time pressure and meet productionIn retail POS systems, barcode scanners are used to  capture product information so that it can be added to the customer's purchase total . Inventory management systems use barcode scanners in supply chain applications to track products from the time they are received into the warehouse until they are shipped out.   A quality engineer, also known as a quality assurance engineer, is  responsible for the quality of products and processes in a manufacturing or development setting . Their duties include:    

• Defining quality standards : Establishing standards for products to meet, and developing testing methods to measure quality    
• Identifying and fixing issues : Identifying problems in products and processes, and working to solve them    
• Testing : Testing systems, procedures, and products to ensure they meet standards    
• Monitoring : Monitoring the production cycle for malfunctions and productivity issues    

• Updating systems : Updating quality management systems with incidents, repairs, and improvements    

• Creating documentation : Creating documentation on quality and safety    

• Collaborating : Working with other departments, such as engineering, production, and support, to ensure quality standards are met    

• Recommending solutions : Recommending solutions to improve quality, customer satisfaction, or reduce costs
