Job Title: Match Statistics Analyst About The Company The client is seeking motivated individuals outside Victoria to join one of Australia’s fastest-growing sports analytics companies. Based in Victoria, we are Australia's leading analytics provider for local football teams nationwide. With a strong client base in Victoria and rapid growth interstate, our company delivers in-depth statistics and analysis for Australian rules football clubs and leagues from every game. What’s Involved This position is specifically for individuals residing outside of Victoria. The role involves watching recordings of grassroots Australian rules football matches and accurately coding individual player statistics using our specialised software. Team members receive specific training (both in-person and remotely) to enhance their knowledge of the game, develop practical skills in data collection, and improve their ability to interpret game statistics. Key Responsibilities

• Coding Australian rules football games comprehensively.
• Collecting, analysing, and interpreting data.
• Collaborating with supervisors to identify standout players.

Ideal Candidate Profile This position is best suited to individuals who:

• Have completed a related degree, such as sport science or sport management.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail, as our product relies heavily on accurate match analysis.
• Are passionate about sports, particularly the analytical aspects.
• Are available to work on weekends, including Saturday nights and Sundays.
• Can work independently without direct supervision.

Desirable Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of sports, especially AFL rules and gameplay.
• A willingness to learn and understand all statistics and their interpretations.
• A proactive attitude and ability to take initiative when appropriate.
