Join us as an Application Security EngineerPlay a crucial role that will make the most of your technical expertise in our IT Security Team.How you will create an impactThe Application Security API Engineer will be responsible for deploying, tuning, and maintaining security policies and enhancements related to application security with an emphasis on API security controls. This is to protect the company's sensitive and confidential information and mitigate security threats to the corporate network.This position is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of application security, application programming interfaces (API), security oversight, and governance. The candidate must understand how the design of these security capabilities impacts management and administration, as well as business applications, network performance, and end user experience.In this role, the candidate will work with the network security engineering team in support of the business to thoroughly test changes and deploy important security capabilities.What you'll need to succeedStrong knowledge of and experience with application information security controls employed to protect networks and computer applications, as well as the ability to identify, test, and implement new API-focused security solutions.Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of application security with specific emphasis on API security controls. The candidate will have at least 7 years of experience working in a large enterprise network environment providing comprehensive solutions and approaches to solving the challenges associated with a large, complex, global environment ensuring strong application security controls are enforced with minimal impacts to the business processes.Ready to maximize your impact?
