Head of IT Security

We are looking for a Head of IT Security or an experienced IT Security Architect with management experience well-versed in information security as well as governance, risk & control (GRC) topics.As Head of IT Security, you'll be the go-to person for key stakeholders and lead the charge in secure software engineering practices. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to grow, learn, and make a real difference together!What will you do at LYNX:Continue to advance our international IT Security strategy by maintaining information security policies, concepts, and guidelines in line with new laws and regulations.Lead the core IT Security team to ensure smoothly running risk management and operational processes and continuous progress towards our security objectives.Perform regular assessments of IT risks and security requirements to meet control objectives and risk appetite.Analyze and assess security and network architecture with respect to regulatory requirements, security and economic feasibility.Draw up and assess protective measures for users, systems, processes, information.Set up and manage the execution of penetration tests, security reviews, and other security-related projects to identify asset vulnerabilities and track remediation.Work with system administrators, development, and operations engineers to audit, monitor, and validate their environment's security.Lead investigations of any information security incidents, coordinate the incident response, and develop mitigation plans.Plan, execute, and accompany international initiatives such as security awareness and other security-related trainings for different audiences (management but also for all staff members).Your Profile:At least 3 years of professional experience in information security including GRC topics in this or a similar role. Preferably in an international context.Experience in developing and maintaining Information Security programs, policies, and procedures, including successful implementations in enterprise environments.Experience in applying various security and IT management standards such as Cobit, ISO 27000, ITIL.High level of expertise in Networks, Server Technologies, and Security-related Equipment & Systems.Interest in infusing security in agile teams, realizing a DevSecOps mindset.Excellent communication skills and interest to work with cross-functional, distributed teams.Very good English language skills; speaking Dutch and/or German is beneficial.Good understanding of relevant EBA guidelines and regulations in the EU.Cooperation with teams across our offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Gent, and Prague. Note that European and Dutch regulations, standards, and guidelines are applicable to LYNX. Our head office is in Amsterdam and that is also where a lot of our internal and external stakeholders (regulators and auditors) are.
