Project Engineer ( ELV & Security Systems)

About the role Infinite QL Group Of Companies are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer (ELV & Security Systems) to join their team in Kuala Lumpur on a contract basis. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of security system & ELV projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. What you'll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned projects, including monitoring progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring deadlines are met
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical expertise
• Oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical, low-voltage and security systems
• Develop project plans, schedules, method statements and progress claims, and track project performance against targets
• Prepare basing schematic and CAD Drawing for client review and approval
• Ensure projects comply with all relevant codes, regulations and safety standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, and mentor junior engineers as required
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Engineer in the electrical, low-voltage or security systems industry
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Excellent technical knowledge of electrical, low-voltage and security systems, including design, installation and commissioning
• Proficient in producing, reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics and specifications
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations and safety standards
