Finance Manager

About the role We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join the dynamic team at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting for our prestigious hotel in Johor Bahru, Johor. What you'll be doing

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Provide strategic financial advice and support to the management team
• Oversee the finance team, including mentoring and developing team members
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives

What we're looking for

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience
• Extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office suite
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
