Technical Safety Engineer

We are currently seeking a Technical Safety Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Successful candidates would be offered a fixed term of employment. About The Job To assist the Senior Engineer/Lead for the Project or Proposal that he/she is involved in, in terms of developing quality deliverables within the schedule and cost, and adhering to HSE requirements. Shall be familiar with relevant international standards such as NFPA, EI, API, and Company Specification Norsok, PTTEP, Total, BP, SBM, Shell company standards, PTS and local regulations. Main Challenges To be familiar with all Safety activities and deliverables including consequence modelling tools such as Phast, FRED and Pipenet. Well versed in Loss Prevention design. Main Accountabilities To be able to work independently with minimum supervision and able to meet the Project schedule, cost and quality. Able to interact with other discipline engineers. About You Familiar with these technologies:

1. Microsoft Office
2. Bachelor in Chemical Engineering or other Engineering
3. Languages: English (Fluent), Bahasa Malaysia (Fluent)

Nice to have

1. Keen to learn, take up new challenges.
2. Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia
