Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Job Title: Supply Chain Manager [Planning] Industry: Plastic Manufacturing Employment Type: Perm Location: Menglembu, Perak Objective: To lead and develop a high-performing Supply Chain Management team with a strong emphasis on planning order cycles, material procurement, inventory management, and operational coordination. This role focuses on optimizing the planning and execution of supply chain activities by ensuring foresight in material buying, understanding plastic production processes, and maintaining an efficient inventory system. Additionally, it involves leading warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to achieve organizational goals while fostering compliance with safety and trade standards. Primary Responsibilities:

1. Planning and Order Management: Develop and manage order cycles with a focus on accuracy and efficiency to meet production and customer needs.
2. Material Procurement: Utilize foresight and market insights to plan material buying aligned with production timelines and inventory goals.
3. Inventory Management: Monitor and optimize inventory levels, ensuring a balance between cost-efficiency and production readiness.
4. Production Understanding: Leverage knowledge of plastic production processes to inform planning decisions and ensure seamless material flow.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of warehouse, logistics, and operations staff to achieve supply chain objectives.
6. KPI Reporting: Control and report key performance indicators to ensure continuous improvement in cost, delivery performance, and inventory management.
7. Process Optimization: Conduct analyses and execute projects to streamline supply chain processes and enhance efficiency.
8. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, purchasing, and production teams to align supply chain activities with organizational goals.
9. Standards Implementation: Ensure adherence to regional and Group SCM standards, as well as compliance with health, safety, and trade regulations.
10. Vendor and Partner Coordination: Manage and optimize delivery and supply relationships with internal and external partners for seamless operations.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in plastic manufacturing or a similar industry.
3. Proven expertise in ERP and MRP systems, with experience developing and implementing work guides and operating procedures.
4. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
5. Ability to drive cost-reduction initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
6. Excellent communication and analytical skills, with proficiency in metrics and reporting systems.
