Associate Executive - Ocean Freight, Export Customer Management

Responsibilities:
- Run compliance check against corporate and legal guidelines.
- Run compliance check against destination country ocean freight SOP.
- Ensure valid quotation for Shipper is in place.
- Continuously obtain adequate shipping volume forecast information from Shipper and maintain this information at all times.
- Receive volume forecast information from Destination office and overlay with Shipper's volume forecast.
- Continuously provide Shipper's volume forecast information to Export Operations team and Destination office.
- Handle continuous pre-shipment status follow-up with Shipper and inform Destination office.
- Receive booking request from Shipper or Destination office.
- Qualify booking request details against customer service agreement and current market conditions.
- Request and receive VGM details from Shipper.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in Customer Service within the Freight Forwarding industry.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional communication etiquette when interacting with clients, colleagues, and management.
