Associate Executive - Ocean Freight, Export Customer Management

Responsibilities:

• Run compliance check against corporate and legal guidelines.
• Run compliance check against destination country ocean freight SOP.
• Ensure valid quotation for Shipper is in place.
• Continuously obtain adequate shipping volume forecast information from Shipper and maintain this information at all times.
• Receive volume forecast information from Destination office and overlay with Shipper's volume forecast.
• Continuously provide Shipper's volume forecast information to Export Operations team and Destination office.
• Handle continuous pre-shipment status follow-up with Shipper and inform Destination office.
• Receive booking request from Shipper or Destination office.
• Qualify booking request details against customer service agreement and current market conditions.
• Request and receive VGM details from Shipper.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in Customer Service within the Freight Forwarding industry.
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Professional communication etiquette when interacting with clients, colleagues, and management.
