At H&P, our people are our strength. Job Summary To monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering new items as needed to keep the inventory fully stocked and supplied. Ensure that purchased orders are delivered by coordinating with warehouse and vendors. Negotiate new contracts with existing and new vendors and suppliers. Responsibilities The following items represent the essential functions and accountabilities for this position. Regular and reliable attendance is essential and required in performance of the job. - Procure goods locally, with accuracy, optimum delivery and pricing, ensuring best conditions for the company.
- Generate purchase orders using the company procurement system.
- Work with warehouse personnel to ensure best practices between international and local purchases.
- Advise and aid in the establishment of local trade agreements.
- Audit performance of local vendors and agreements.
- Communicate with rigs to supply parts accurately and timely.
- Provide required reports to all internal clients.
- Establish payment terms with local suppliers.
- Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids to suppliers through RFQ process.
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with reception and storage and/or delivery of parts.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Must have proficient PC skills, Microsoft Office application required with an emphasis on Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Excellent organizational skills in order to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent English language skills.
- At least 3 years of related experience.
