Project Engineer (Fire Protection System/Marine/Vessel)

Responsibilities: Manage and oversee projects related to fire protection systems in marine vessels. Coordinate with clients, naval architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution. Review and analyze project requirements and design specifications. Provide technical expertise and support in the selection and procurement of fire protection equipment and systems. Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety regulations. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for installation, commissioning, and testing of fire protection systems. Prepare project documentation and reports. Minimum Requirements: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience in project engineering, preferably in fire protection systems for marine vessels. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to fire protection systems. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
