As a Senior Treasury Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting department. You will prepare financial reports, perform research and analysis, maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, assist with audit preparations, and carry out other accounting duties as may be required. You will own the month-end process, be answerable for the journal entries, and take complete control over the balance sheet reconciliations. You will work closely with the Finance Operations teams and will play a large part in ensuring the control environment is working sufficiently. In this role, you will:

Coordinate accounting functions and programs;
Execute month-end and year-end closing activities in a timely manner;
Ensure a clean and transparent balance sheet with up-to-date reconciliations;
Prepare financial analyses and reports;
Develop revenue projections and forecast expenditures;
Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets;
Perform monthly variance analysis against prior months and budgets;
Prepare journal entries, General Ledger accounts, and related supporting documents;
Assist with annual audit preparations;
Prepare and audit company tax forms;
Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations;
Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting systems, programs, and procedures;
Actively identify areas for improvement and drive necessary changes.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) are preferred;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, accounting, or finance;
Proven track record in cash flow management, financial modelling, and risk assessment;
Experience in dealing with banks, financial institutions, and auditors;
Strong understanding of treasury and cash management principles;
Familiarity with financial instruments, banking systems, and investment options;
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance in treasury operations;
Proficiency in ERP systems and treasury management software;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling;
Strong communication and negotiation abilities;
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency;
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to financial management;
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality;
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments.
