Let’s paint the future together. Responsibilities Planning:
- Analysis of demand for translation to purchase plan for locally sourced and imported materials.
- Plan materials with an understanding of balancing cost and customer service.
- Analysis to correct and prevent over/under stocking, short and long-term inventory planning, out of stock management.
- Manage reduction and prevention of slow and obsolete stock, including phase out and phase in.
- Maintain materials delivery schedule with suppliers per requirements.
- Analysis of supplier performance for corrective and preventative actions on service failures, drive improvement plans.
- Balance replenishment with an understanding of site warehouse capacity.
- Takes ownership for continuous improvement and performance management processes.
- Co-ordinate customs clearance process with relevant parties.
- MRP for analysis of nett requirements.
- Create purchase orders.
- Maintenance of purchase orders reflecting the reality of the replenishment plan.
- Analysis of material shortages for resolution.
- Data management: review and maintenance of master data in accordance with inventory replenishment policies & MRP parameters i.e. ABCXYZ segmentation, lead times, safety stock levels etc.
- Support implementation of respective continuous improvement projects.
- University Graduate in relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years experience in FMCG Supply planning.
- Experienced with SAP ECC-PP.
- Understanding of production planning and inter-dependencies with Material Planning.
- Experience in local customs clearance process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook & Excel.
